Jesus’ Gift of Community
In wrapping up our series, Following Jesus, we are looking at Jesus' gift of community to the church. He not only invites us to follow Him, but to follow Him together! We are not alone. We have a family. Together we are the body of Christ, and together we follow the King!
Creating A Rule Of Life
In this week's message we look at what it takes to actually put together a rule of life, a path forward to following the way of Jesus. This is the practical steps required to maintain a rhythm of discipleship to Jesus Christ. He is leading, we must follow!
Healing From Sin
This week we look at continuing the journey toward healing and wholeness in Jesus Christ!
Meeting God in Pain & Suffering
This week we continue the conversation we started in week 3 on the topic of pain and suffering, with a focus on how to deal with emotional pain as we continue to shape our lives around the way and practices of Jesus Christ.
The Spiritual Disciplines / Practices
Continuing our series, Following Jesus, we are looking at the spiritual disciplines, or practices that we employ in our lives to follow the way of Jesus. These are practical pursuits with deeply spiritual outcomes in our lives.
Spiritual Formation: Part 2
In our second week looking at Spiritual Formation, we continue the conversation about what it looks like to become like Jesus. We are being formed. Who and What is shaping us? Are we being conformed to this world, or being transformed into the image of Christ? It takes a decision to live an intentional life of following after, and implementing the way of Jesus in our lives, while relying on the Holy Spirit to transform us, as we learn to walk in the Love of our heavenly Father.
Spiritual Formation: Part 1
As we continue our series, "Following Jesus", we begin to look at what it means to pursue and experience true spiritual formation. The process of sanctification is lived out in our salvation in Jesus Christ. We are redeemed by His blood, and being transformed by His Spirit!
Following Jesus: To Be WITH Jesus
In our new series, Following Jesus, we are looking at what it means to be a disciple of Jesus in our culture, time and region. Is it different than 2000 years ago when Jesus said to his disciples, "Come, follow me."? Do we still treat our following of Jesus in the same way that Simon, Andrew, James, John and the others did? Will we let go of all we are, take up our cross, and follow the Messiah?
